ZEN KUU (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we handle on this website and in ZEN KUU Uploader, the internal tool we use to publish our own videos to our own YouTube channel.
1. This website
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a login on this website.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website, under its own privacy policy.
- Digital books are sold through third-party platforms such as Gumroad and Payhip. Payment and order information is handled by those platforms under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to respond to your inquiry.
2. Google user data (ZEN KUU Uploader)
ZEN KUU Uploader is an internal tool used only by the owner of the ZEN KUU YouTube channel to publish videos produced by ZEN KUU.
It is not offered to the public and does not access data about viewers or other YouTube users.
What we access
When the channel owner signs in with Google, the tool requests only the following permissions:
- Upload YouTube videos (
youtube.upload) — to upload our own video files to our own YouTube channel and set information such as title, description, tags, category, language, audience settings and publishing schedule. - View the YouTube account (
youtube.readonly) — to confirm which YouTube channel is signed in, including the channel name and channel ID, and to check the upload or processing status of videos uploaded by ZEN KUU.
We request only the permissions necessary for these purposes.
How we use Google user data
Google user data is used only to:
- upload and schedule videos produced by ZEN KUU;
- confirm that the correct YouTube channel is connected;
- verify the upload and processing status of videos.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling or training artificial intelligence models.
How we store it
Authorization credentials and tokens are stored locally on the channel owner’s computer in an access-restricted folder used for authentication data.
They are excluded from version control and are not intentionally written to application logs or displayed on screen.
We also maintain limited local records necessary to prevent accidental duplicate uploads.
How we share it
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not share, transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties, except where required by law.
Limited Use
ZEN KUU’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

Revoking access and deleting data
You may revoke ZEN KUU Uploader’s access to your Google Account at any time through the Google Account permissions page:

If access is revoked, or if we stop using the tool, the locally stored authorization token is deleted.
Data obtained through YouTube API Services is refreshed or deleted in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
We retain only limited local records needed to prevent duplicate uploads, and only to the extent permitted by those policies.
YouTube and Google
ZEN KUU Uploader uses YouTube API Services.
By using any ZEN KUU feature that relies on YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service:

3. Children
ZEN KUU is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
